Fluoride

We evaluate each child for fluoride supplementation based on geographical area, age, oral hygiene practices, past dental history, and risk of cavity formation. After evaluating these factors, we will recommend the proper dose for your child. While most of the major metropolitan areas in the United States fluoridate their water, very few areas within the general Portland Metro area have fluoride added to the water.
